Inca's Food Matico is a traditional Peruvian herbal product made from matico (Piper aduncum L.), also known as Hierba del Soldado (Soldier's Herb) or cordoncillo.

Suggested use – Matico tea
For a traditional matico tea, boil 1 litre of water with 30g of matico. Once boiling, remove from heat and let the infusion stand for 3–5 minutes. Strain before drinking.
Matico tea has a distinctive herbal flavour and can be enjoyed with honey.
