Sales Assistant (Fixed Term) 
📍 Hillcrest, North Shore | 🕒 Aprox. 32 hrs/week | 💲 Starting salary: $25/hr (more if proven experience)

 

Pachamama Latino Store, specialists in Latin American foods since 2006, is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term contract (late April to mid-June 2026).

 

About the role:

  • Customer service and retail sales

  • Preparing and dispatching online orders

  • Assisting with event planning and management

  • Supporting in-store promotions

  • Maintaining store presentation and stock

Important:
Some weekend work will be required on specific dates to support store events and activations.

 

Requirements:

  • Retail or customer service experience

  • A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish

  • Good computer skills (Word, Excel)

  • Reliable, well-presented, and positive attitude

  • Valid work visa and clean police record

Bonus:

  • Barista experience

  • Knowledge of Yerba Mate and Latin culture

Hours: Monday–Friday 10:15 AM–4:30 PM (Thursday until 7:00 PM) –  aprox. 32 hrs/week
(Plus occasional weekend hours for events)

Location: 179A Archers Road, Hillcrest, Auckland
