Sales Assistant (Weekends only)
📍 Hillcrest, North Shore | 🕒 Aprox. 12 hrs/week | 💲 Starting salary: $24.50/hr (more if proven sales experience)
Pachamama Latino Store, specialists in Latin American foods since 2006, is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term contract (late April to mid-June 2026). This position is to cover for a staff temporary leave.
Please only apply if you have a suitable visa that allows you to work 12 hrs a week, are fluent in BOTH Spanish and English, have proven sales experience and a clean police record, gracias!
About the role:

Customer service and retail sales

Preparing and dispatching online orders

Assisting with event planning and management

Supporting in-store promotions

Maintaining store presentation and stock

Assisting customers with their purchases

Mantaining stock levels and store presentation
Requirements:

Retail or customer service experience
-
A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service

Excelent sales skills
-
Fluent in both English and Spanish

Reliable, well-presented, and positive attitude

Valid work visa and clean police record
Bonus:

Barista experience

Knowledge of Yerba Mate and Latin culture
Hours: Saturdays and Sundays–Friday 10:15 AM–4:30 PM – aprox. 12.5 hrs/week
(Plus occasional longer hours during events and/or late nights)
