About the event
For the first time ever, New Zealand officially joins the Mundial de la Yerba Mate as an international sub-host — and Pachamama Latino Store is proud to bring this unique experience to Aotearoa.
But this event goes far beyond a competition.
The Mundial de la Yerba Mate is an international project that celebrates mate culture, bringing together communities, producers, and mate lovers from around the world through tastings, workshops, and shared experiences.
This year, more than 150 yerba mate samples from different countries and producers are competing in blind tastings judged by experts and mate enthusiasts worldwide.
