yerba mate. We are a long way from South America, so we are pleased to be
able to share a mate with you on-line! Mate drinking is a wonderful
ceremony that is growing in popularity, and we hope that you will
continue to refer to us for your yerba mate needs.
La Pachamama Limited has been running for two
years now. We started out as a way to channel yerba mate to our friends
in Auckland and also to ourselves, as we are ourselves regular mate
drinkers! Nowadays we supply yerba mate to stores in both Islands
delivering yerba mate to all New Zealand. We also had the pleasure to
meet some wonderful people from all around the world and introduce the
yerba mate ritual to many kiwis, who now enjoy
the healthy habit of mate drinking.

New Stock arriving
Thank you to all the customers who gave us feedback on our stock list.
Keep those requests coming in, as we aim to please! We just received a
new shipment of mates and bombillas and some of
the new items are almost too beautiful to use!
Our new yerba range
includes brands from Uruguay as well as organic and a selection of brands
that have proved popular from customer requests. Send us a mail to see if

New season harvest contest
August is the month
where people in the Andes celebrate ‘La Pachamama’
(or mother earth). The celebration consists of making offers to the earth
to acknowledge for past harvests and in hope that future ones will be
prosperous. To celebrate, we are giving away away
3 KG of yerba. Simply send in a yerba mate recipe, or a yerba mate
related story to
share on our website. We will announce the winners in the next
